From February 5th to 8th, Galería Hilario Galguera in Mexico City will transform into a vibrant meeting place for contemporary art and video game culture, featuring Issa Salliander’s unique interpretations of Den of Wolves, a co-op heist FPS game from sweden-based studio 10 Chambers. Visitors are invited to a week filled with art, conversations, and celebrations.

Experience the ISSA SALLIANDER x DOW exhibition at the gallery from 5th 8th (11:00-5:00PM). Join us on the festivities “behind the mask” on the 8th of February, on the rooftop of Galeria Hilario Glaguera. A cocktail party hosted by Issa Salliander, Den of Wolves & the gallery.

BEHIND THE MASKS

An up-tempo mingle with a DJ, cocktail bars, and exceptional hospitality on the rooftop of Galería Hilario Galguera in Mexico City.

Theme: A fusion with Den of Wolves characters and the allure of a Venetian-inspired masquerade.

Each guest will receive a unique DoW mask at the entrance, with the opportunity to personalize it at the creative corner of the venue. Bring some heat!, bold expressions and individuality are encouraged and celebrated, but everyone is warmly welcome just as they are.

The exhibition is a collaboration between the worlds of video games, technology, and contemporary art. It began as an artistic interpretation of four unique masks designed for the video game, which served as the focal point of a collaboration merging the immersive realm of gaming with the tactile impact of fine art. Over time, Salliander expanded this concept into a new series of paintings, delving into the psychology of group conformity and the symbolic aspects of identity, including the dynamics of inner turmoil and ego.

 

Den of Wolves is a co-op heist FPS from the creator of PAYDAY: The Heist, PAYDAY 2 and GTFO. In this techno-thriller you and your friends operate as criminals for hire in the conflicts between rival corporations in Midway City. Gather your crew, design the plan, gear up and execute the heist.
